GroundProbe Attends CIM 2019 Convention and EXPO
GroundProbe recently attended the CIM 2019 Convention and Expo, which was held at the Montreal Convention Centre, in Canada.
Attended by over 5,500 delegates from 51 different countries, as well as 450 exhibitors, and 250 guest speakers, the CIM Convention and EXPO is Canada’s premier mining tradeshow.
The convention was comprised of a line-up of expertly-led short courses as well as three full days of technical presentations divided between seven different and innovative themes.
The event also provided great networking opportunities, a complete young leaders program, and a world-renowned trade show with the focus of this year’s convention being on the topics ‘information’, ‘intelligence’ and ‘innovation’.
GroundProbe’s Business Manager for North America and Brazil, Chris Bijsterveld, said the CIM 2019 Convention was an excellent event and provided a great platform to generate interest in GroundProbe’s monitoring solutions.
“Principally, we engendered a lot of interest in our GML and our offerings of a mix of Slope Stability Radar and GMS for tailing dams monitoring,” said Chris Bijsterveld.
“We also enjoyed meeting representatives from our current Canadian customer base as well as establishing new contacts that hold interests in the USA, Canada, Mexico, and further afield.”
“It was also great to mix with our Orica and Minova colleagues from across the continent and the UK.”
