Encouraging young African girls to consider STEM-related careers

In March, GroundProbe Technical Specialist, Latoya Sekopa, was invited to present at a STEM Conference for Girls in Botswana, Africa.

Joining 22 fellow engineers from multiple companies, Latoya was one of only four invited to share her inspirational story with the 150 young students from various schools throughout Botswana.

The conference’s aim was to encourage young students to consider STEM-related careers (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
