Driving Innovation and Collaboration at Geosolution’s Arequipa User Group Conference

GroundProbe and Terra Insights have combined under Orica Digital Solutions to form Geosolutions, an innovative solution provider that will revolutionise monitoring in the mining and civil infrastructure sectors.

On October 24th, Orica Geosolutions held its annual User Group Conference in Arequipa, Peru. The event brought together customers, industry leaders, and experts to discuss advancements in geotechnical monitoring, technology, and software.

A key highlight was Grupo Geoandina’s participation, with CEO Hector Salazar and the group’s Founder sharing insights on advanced monitoring, automated systems, and using InSAR and AI in Peru’s major mining projects.

GroundProbe’s Rachmat Musa, along with Winda Anggraeni and Rahardian Dwitya, presented ‘Untold Stories: Uncovering Key Factors Leading to Fatalities in the Mining Industry,’ emphasising critical factors like gaps in TARP Protocols and insufficient Risk Assessments that Contribute to slope failures.
