INTRODUCING: Jarrah Davies GroundProbe’s Regional Manager, Peru and Colombia

This year marks an exciting milestone for Jarrah Davies, celebrating his seventh year with GroundProbe in Brisbane, Australia. Since joining in 2017, Jarrah has grown from a recent Queensland University of Technology graduate to a key figure within our engineering team.

A Journey from Graduate to Key Engineer

His journey began with inspiration from a friend who worked on GroundProbe’s inaugural radar project, driving Jarrah to quickly ascend from a Graduate Engineer to a Mechanical Design Engineer. His expertise has been instrumental in developing innovative technologies. Stepping into leadership roles, Jarrah has taken on the challenge of mentoring colleagues and fostering a culture of teamwork and creativity.

Innovation and Leadership

His contributions to several innovation projects have further solidified GroundProbe’s leadership in geotechnical monitoring technology. Jarrah attributes much of this success to the company’s team-oriented culture, which he has actively enhanced by integrating production and engineering teams for more seamless product development.

From concept to completion, Jarrah’s hands-on approach to project management offers him the unique satisfaction of seeing his designs come to life. This full-cycle involvement, from idea generation to final production, highlights the tangible impact of his work—a rewarding aspect that he deeply values.

Most recently, Jarrah’s commitment took him to Tasmania, where he worked on the Savage River Mine project, tackling environmental challenges head-on. His collaboration with the Research and Development team helps address real-world problems, ensuring GroundProbe continues to deliver cutting-edge risk management solutions.

Outside the office, Jarrah channels his passion for pushing boundaries through adrenaline sports. His adventurous spirit, whether on the job or off, reflects his drive to innovate and explore new possibilities.
