What does being a Safety Champion mean to you?

“As a Safety Officer, my role is to safeguard the lives and well-being of our team. I actively promote preventive behaviours, constantly improve workplace conditions, implement safety programs, and conduct thorough inspections of all work areas. My goal is to identify potential hazards and implement measures to prevent accidents, ensuring that our people and equipment remain protected. It’s about creating a proactive environment where everyone feels responsible for safety.”

How does safety play a role in your daily work?

“Safety is not just a task—it’s a priority. Each day, I focus on ensuring that our team is fully protected, encouraging them to practice preventive measures so everyone goes home safely. For me, safety is the foundation of our work. It allows us to protect the integrity of each team member and gives us the confidence that we are creating a secure working environment.”
