Announcing the Winners of our Geotechnical Scholarships 2023
We are proud to announce the four winners of our GroundProbe Geotechnical Scholarship Program.
Congratulations to the four undergraduate university students who will soon fly to Indonesia to take part in our fully funded three-week training program, valued at $10,000 per student. The program presents a unique chance for the students to receive advanced geotechnical training from professional monitoring engineers and hands-on practical experience with state-of-the-art slope stability radars (SSRs) from our GSS office in Balikpapan.
The students will learn to analyse live radar data from around the world and gain unrivaled insights into slope failure monitoring and prediction. This immersive experience aims to enhance their technical abilities and provide a strong foundation for a prosperous career in geotechnical engineering.
Additionally, the students will have the opportunity to build lifelong connections with experienced geotechnical engineers, laying the groundwork for future collaborations and mentorship. They will also have the chance to immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Balikpapan, exploring its culinary delights, partaking in local sports, and embracing the rich tapestry of the city’s customs and traditions.
Congratulations again to the four deserving students. Our focus is that through our program, you will gain invaluable experience and knowledge, paving the way for a successful and fulfilling future in geotechnical engineering.
