GroundProbe wins 2023 Australia-Latin America Business Council Business Excellence Award
GroundProbe is proud to announce its latest achievement—the Australia-Latin America Business Council (ALABC) Business Excellence Award for entities with more than 200 employees. This prestigious accolade is a testament to GroundProbe’s exceptional success and commitment to Latin America.
Competing against a large pool of impressive Australian companies, GroundProbe’s Latin American business was assessed by a professional judging panel who reviewed their business growth, ESG initiatives, innovation practices and commitment to the region.
Since its inception just 22 years ago, GroundProbe has evolved from an Australian start-up to a global innovation powerhouse and trusted partner of companies around the world.
GroundProbe’s VP Americas and Chief Commercial Officer, Ben Moke, said Latin America has played a pivotal role in this remarkable journey, acting as a significant catalyst for the company’s expansion.
“This recognition highlights our successes in Latin America and our continued determination to provide innovative solutions and exceptional service to our valued customers in the region.
“GroundProbe’s entry into the Latin American market commenced in 2003 with the successful sale of one of its cutting-edge products into Chile.
“Today, the company boasts four major offices, home to a skilled workforce of over 150 professionals, diligently supporting a network of 90 active customers spanning South America, Central America, and Mexico.”
Exemplifying GroundProbe’s commitment to the region, GroundProbe recently invested in a second manufacturing facility in the United States. This strategic move aims to enhance the company’s ability to serve its Latin American customers while reaffirming its commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) outcomes through local sourcing and reduced freight.
GroundProbe’s commitment to making a positive impact also extends beyond its business operations.
“The company proudly supports the local community by investing in initiatives like STEM Punks, a wonderful program designed to foster the engagement of school-aged children in science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM), ultimately nurturing young minds for a better future,” said Mr Moke.
GroundProbe’s recognition with the Australia-Latin America Business Council not only celebrates its past achievements but also reinforces the company’s vision for the future. GroundProbe remains dedicated to the region and supporting their customers within it.
