GSS is a world-class global support network that assists our customers with effective slope stability and underground risk management through comprehensive technical support. Made up of Geotechnical Engineers, GSS is one of the largest assembled teams of geotechnical mining professionals in the world.

About the Presenter:
Andrei graduated in 2001 with a BEng in Civil Engineering (Hons) from the National University of Colombia. After working for four years on civil engineering projects planning and management, he joined a postgraduate program at District University of Bogotá (Colombia) in 2005 and specialized in the use of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems. In 2008, he obtained his MSc in Geoinformation and Earth Observation Sciences – Engineering Geology from the ITC – University of Twente (The Netherlands).
Nowadays Andrei has over 10 years of work experience in consulting and research related to natural hazard and risk assessment, slope stability, ground investigation, and mineral exploration for both government agencies and the private consulting industry.
Andrei is currently a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for GroundProbe.
